Sergio Diggs

My name is Sergio Diggs and a 16-year member of the Philadelphia Police Department and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Formerly, I was assigned to the “Elite” Highway Patrol Unit, but I am now a Sergeant in the 9th police district. I take pride in serving the city of Philadelphia and my country. One of the best things about being a law enforcement officer in Philadelphia is the ability to sow positive seeds of influence and encouragement into the same soil I grew from. I recognize the value of paying it forward and giving back to show those after me that there’s a positive way out, if they want it.

I also dedicate much of my time and talents to helping people in their most trying times through various organizations such as Be A Great You, Inc., National Black Police Association, and Mu Beta Phi Military Fraternity, Inc. For me, helping others is something I have always been called for and having a profession that allows me to facilitate it is a blessing.
